Graphics wizard wanted! Join our wayfinding team

Our wayfinding team are super busy, so we’re on the lookout for a permanent new addition.

You, you, you!

Your graphics and information design skills will be second to none, and whilst we’d prefer it if you have some wayfinding experience, we’re looking for creative thinkers who can deliver innovative solutions to client challenges.

You’ll need to be a confident all-rounder, someone who is ready to step up, be autonomous and begin to manage projects. We don’t stick you in boxes: this role is involved with every stage of a project. You’ll get exposure to user & site research, development of strategy, concept & detailed design, artworking, site work & installation. You might already have some experience successfully delivering projects and dealing with the built environment. Working in scale is a must. Importantly, you’ll be interested in the human element, and you understand that wayfinding is much more than signs.

This is a junior—mid-weight position, so you’ll have 2-5 years experience, be fluent in the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign & Photoshop, with CAD experience preferable but not essential.

What’s it like to work at CCD, you ask?

Well, we’re a young, dynamic team from a mixture of backgrounds including graphic designers, human factors, psychology, industrial designers and interiors. We work in a wide range of sectors across the world, including culture and heritage, airports, rail, education and mixed-use developments so experience in any of these is an advantage. Our main markets are the UK, Europe and the Middle East but we do work all over the place.

We’ve recently moved to a co-working space and we welcome creative and innovative ideas, and outside-the-box thinking. Our favourite lunch is pizza, and we’re partial to a pint now and again.

Package includes competitive salary, annual bonus, pension and healthcare.

Please send your CV, cover letter & PDF portfolio to Chris Girling, navigator of our wayfinding ship here at CCD, email Applications close Thursday 14th December with interviews w/c 18th December.
